QA and the 2030 Vision

Based on Qatar’s 2030 vision, QA would like to contribute in providing a development schemes for alternative sources of energy working in parallel with the 2030 Vision. Qatar is currently exploiting its hydrocarbon resources to establish a proper foundation for its economical aspirations.

The oil and gas sector in Qatar shapes up more than 60% of the gross domestic product and roughly 85% of the export earning respectively. Thus, Qatar’s reliance on hydrocarbons would demand new and high tech innovations that would aid the sustainability of the O&G production and supply flow.

QA’s responsibility is to contribute towards the national security and sustainability development vision through introducing new technological solutions that would allow the state of Qatar in improving current O&G entities and the setup of new technologies that demand high scientific and engineering skill in scaling up the latest technologies that deal with alternative forms of energy and environmental protection.
